Indian breeds have been pushed aside for years, from the cows in our villages to the dogs on our streets. Their strength and history are real, but very few people tell their story. Bazaar of Breeds began with one simple idea: a single place where Indian families find honest breed guidance, fair prices and care that suits Indian conditions.
Indian Bully, Mudhol, Rajapalayam, Chippiparai, Marwari, Gir, Tharparkar, and the breeds most sites skip.
Feeding and care advice for Indian weather and Indian homes.
Every price comes with its reasons, whatever your budget.

WE DID NOT CHOOSE THIS LIFE
We did not choose animals. We were born among them. On our farm, dogs, cats, horses, bulls and cows were not pets or stock. They were the ones we woke up with. No degree taught us this. Twenty years did.
2018: THE COWS STARTED TO CHANGE
In 2018, we noticed something in the villages and dairies around us. Gir, Sahiwal and Tharparkar cows were being replaced by American breeds. The reason was one number: about thirty litres of milk a day. Farmers did the maths and chose the bigger number. It is hard to blame them.
But nobody was talking about the other side. Indian cow milk carries A2 protein and a place in Ayurveda that goes back centuries. These cows were not weak. They were misunderstood.
ONE COW WAS NOT THE ONLY ONE
Once we saw it in cows, we saw it everywhere. Indian dog breeds, forgotten. Indian horse breeds, ignored. Centuries of knowledge about caring for animals in Indian weather, on Indian farms, was slowly disappearing.
It hurt. So we did the one thing we could do: we started. We picked one Indian breed that almost nobody spoke about, built a website for it with a small team, and told the truth about it. That taught us something we still follow: when you work with real love, trust follows.
2021: THE FAMILY THAT COULD NOT AFFORD IT
Then we noticed a second thing. An ordinary Indian family can love a dog as much as anyone. But a good breed was out of their reach. So was good food. So were products made for Indian animals and Indian weather. Premium brands were too expensive, too foreign, or simply not built for us.
So in 2021, we gave the idea a name.
BAZAAR, BECAUSE EVERYONE BELONGS HERE
A bazaar is not just a market. It is where a community gathers, where life happens, where everything is on offer. And “Breeds” is a word every animal lover understands. Together: Indian in soul, open to the world.
WHAT WE STAND FOR
Indian breeds are not inferior. Mudhol Hound, Rajapalayam, Gaddi Kutta, Chippiparai, Gir cow, Marwari horse: each has strength, history and an identity the world has yet to meet.
Quality should not need a foreign price tag. Any family that loves its animal deserves honest information, good breeds and good products at a fair price.
India already knows how to care for its animals. We will bring that knowledge back, test it with modern science, and turn it into products that work.
WHO WE ARE TODAY
A small team of friends and students across Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Delhi. We are not copying what foreign brands do. We are showing what India already knows.
If you came to find a dog, read first. If you came because you love an animal, you are in the right place.
Breeds · Care · Bharat
Our knowledge does not come from courses. It comes from years of daily life with animals on the farm. These are the animals we know best.
A small team with one belief: Indian breeds deserve to be known and cared for properly. Meet some of the people who make that happen.
